Join Busan’s esports tournament for a chance to win cash prizes

Busan, the mecca of esports, is hosting a tournament for amateur players nationwide. The 6th Busan Metropolitan City Mayor's Cup Nationwide Esports Competition is currently underway and recruiting more participants!


During the competition, groups of players can compete in League of Legends or StarCraft. Players may also play demos of games by local production companies.


Teams of five people can enter the League of Legends tournament, while groups of three people can compete in the StarCraft contest. Only individuals who are employed may participate. Other restrictions apply, so visit the competition’s official website to check your eligibility.


The tournament's opening rounds will be held online until Oct. 21. The top-scoring teams will play for the championship on Oct. 28 at the Busan e-Sports Arena in Busanjin-gu district. 


Preliminary rounds are already underway, so register your team now and compete for a share of the 12 million won prize pool!
