Dongbaek Jeon can help you manage Chuseok expenses

Busan Metropolitan City announced the “Dongbaek Jeon Promotion” to financially support citizens who incur additional expenses for the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
The promotion will be implemented from Sept. 1 to 30.
Dongbaek Jeon is a local currency used at Busan-based businesses. Along with boosting the city’s economy, citizens who use Dongbaek Jeon to shop locally receive various financial benefits.
Throughout September, the cash back incentive limit rises from the current 300,000 won to 600,000 won. As a result, the maximum monthly cash back accumulation limit is increased from the current 21,000 won to 42,000 won. In other words, the maximum cash back reward is doubled this month.
Additionally, participating businesses will give shoppers an extra 2% cash back credit when customers pay through the Dongbaek Jeon app. This extra 2% is on top of the regular 3% to 10% discount Dongbaek Jeon users receive.
