 The Busan Global City Foundation is offering free interpretation and document translation in 14 languages, including in-person help at hospitals, banks and police stations.


 Interpreters can also accompany residents to post offices and schools. Translation covers official notices from public institutions as well as informational materials.


 Support is offered in English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Russian, Uzbek, Thai, Mongolian, Cambodian (Khmer), Myanmar language (Burmese), Tagalog, Nepali and Turkish. 

 The services are available to foreign nationals living in Busan who hold a long-term visa valid for 90 days or longer. 


 Interpretation is free for up to two hours; longer sessions must be scheduled with the interpreter beforehand. Applicants should submit requests at least three days ahead, and schedules may shift depending on interpreter availability and the nature of the request.
