Learn more about the city with the 2026 Busan Identity Tour

Applications for the second-half edition of the 2026 Busan Identity Tour will be open from Aug. 21 through 30, with tours scheduled for September and October. 

Led by professional culture guides, the program allows participants to explore Busan Future Heritage sites firsthand, discovering tangible and intangible heritage that preserves the memories and stories of modern and contemporary Busan. More than a simple sightseeing tour, the program offers a meaningful glimpse into the history woven into every corner of Busan. 

This time, the program features four themed courses from Sept. 19 to Oct. 18, visiting neighborhoods across Busan. Each tour has a specific theme that reveals a different aspect of Busan’s modern and contemporary history:

- “Benefit” on Sept. 19: Trace Busan’s industrial and commercial development through neighborhoods shaped by industries rooted in the city’s history. 

- “Warmth” on Sept. 20: Explore neighborhoods in Yeongdo-gu District and discover the city’s long-standing everyday culture. 

- “Interest” on Oct. 17: Discover Busan’s rich culture and literature heritage.

- “Diversity" on Oct. 18: Explore a peaceful retreat enjoyed by locals and diverse neighborhood commercial areas.

Each three-hour guided bus tour can accommodate 20 people. Schedules and itineraries are subject to change depending on on-site conditions.

Applications are available through the Google Form linked below. Selected participants will be notified individually following a lottery. Note that duplicate selection is not allowed. To prevent no-shows, a participation fee of 5,000 won is charged per team (whether individual or group) and is reimbursed as a drink voucher.
