What to do this weekend: must-visit exhibitions

📍 Busan City Hall
Through Aug. 1, the special exhibition “Our Stories” is on view at Exhibition Hall 1 on the 2nd floor of Busan City Hall. The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of works by nine artists with developmental disabilities. All are members of Blue Art, a Busan-based artists’ group affiliated with the Autism Society of Korea. Founded in 2020, Blue Art supports its artists in continuing their creative works while encouraging them to engage with society and build more independent lives through art.
Since its inaugural exhibition at Busan City Hall in 2021, Blue Art has continued to share its work with the public. This year’s exhibition marks its 6th regular exhibition. Visitors can explore distinctive works by Hyeon Chae Shin, Jae Young Park, Tae Seong Jo, Jin Seok Yoon, Hyo Jun Yoon, Seong Je Hwang, Seung Bo Sim, Yi Jeong Rim and Jun Su Park. The featured works offer a glimpse into each artist’s unique perspective, weaving together stories of life, memories and emotions.
