The Busan Global City Foundation (BGCF) is now accepting applications for the second semester of its free Korean language courses.

All prospective students must take an on-site level test before joining a course; register by June 26.

The mandatory level tests will be administered on July 3 and 4 on the 13th floor of the BGCF building in Yeonje-gu District.

On the test day, participants must bring their Alien Registration Card, pencils and a copy of their bankbook. The test will take approximately 30 minutes, though the specific time slots have not yet been finalized. The BGCF will group students by test results and finalize enrollment into the Korean classes.

The BGCF Korean classes are to help international residents transition into the local community. Classes are open to any foreigner residing in Busan who holds a long-term visa valid for more than 90 days.

A 50,000 won cash deposit must be paid on the first day of class. The deposit will be fully refunded to students with an attendance rate of 60% or higher.

For further details and to sign up for the level test, visit the official BGCF website or the webpage linked below.
