Read outdoors this spring at the Busan Citizens Park Lawn Library

library

The Lawn Library at Busan Citizens Park is open Wednesdays to Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. until June 14. Come and spend an afternoon reading a good book in the fresh air.

Held at the expansive field opposite the Maze Garden, the Lawn Library boasts approximately 2,600 books across various genres, including children’s picture books, popular comics and essay collections.

Visitors can borrow up to five books per person by filling out a basic information sheet at the operation booth. The program also offers complimentary bean bags, picnic mats and headsets for use within the Lawn Library.

For those seeking a break from the sun, dedicated shady spaces are available, featuring a camping zone equipped with open tents and chairs, as well as relaxing sunbeds under a canopy of trees.

While the Lawn Library will close on rainy days, it remains open to the public even on holidays. Feeling a gentle breeze, soaking in the warm sunshine and losing yourself in a book amidst the green heart of the city is undoubtedly one of the finest activities Busan has to offer this season.
