At 10 a.m. on Feb. 23, the Busan Hangul Institute will begin accepting registrations for its free 12-week Korean language courses. Operated by the Busan Global City Foundation to enhance the language skills of Busan’s international students and graduates seeking careers in Korea, the program will run from March 16 to June 4.
To qualify for the courses, students must present their Alien Registration Card with a D-2, D-4, D-10 or F-4 visa. Please note that a 50,000 won deposit is required to ensure consistent attendance and commitment; this deposit will be fully refunded upon successful completion of the course. As an added incentive, participants who achieve their target level on the TOPIK test will be eligible for a full refund of their exam fee.
Due to limited capacity, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and must be completed by 10 a.m. on March 11. Successful applicants will be notified via email and SMS. For class schedules and registration details, visit the BGCF official website.
