Dalbit Children's Hospital expands after-hours pediatric care

At night, on weekends and on holidays, parents are encouraged to bring their sick children to a hospital in the Dalbit Children's network rather than to an emergency room.
Launched in 2014, the Dalbit Children's Hospital program provides outpatient care for non-emergency conditions, such as colds and mild fevers, when most clinics are closed. The initiative gives parents reliable access to pediatric care while helping reduce congestion in emergency rooms.
As of January 2026, there are nine Dalbit Children's hospitals across Busan, strengthening the city's after-hours pediatric healthcare network.
If a child shows mild symptoms, a visit to a Dalbit Children's Hospital is often preferable to an ER visit for several reasons:
Generally more accessible than ERs.
A more affordable care option.
Spares children from the intimidating atmosphere of the ER.
Shorter wait times for treatment.
Expert pediatricians provide specialized care.
※ Operating hours are subject to change. Please call 119 or the hospital to confirm before your visit.
