Big Shop Pop-up shows Busan is Good
Until Dec. 7, Busan City is hosting a vibrant pop-up store at KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan in Seomyeon, inviting visitors to experience the city’s creative energy through a colorful mix of branded merchandise and hands-on activities.
Stepping inside, guests are greeted by eye-catching displays arranged across three themed zones, Promotion, Sales and Event, each offering a different way to enjoy Busan’s unique charm.
The pop-up is an extension of the popular Big Shop in Gwangbok-ro, Jung-gu District, which has spent the past two years elevating Busan’s city brand through clever collaborations and inventive merchandise.
Set in the heart of Seomyeon’s busy shopping district, the pop-up gives both residents and tourists a chance to engage with the brand in fresh, memorable ways. With creative goods, interactive programs and a lively atmosphere, the city hopes to spark even wider interest in what makes Busan special.
Each zone brings something different to the experience. The Promotion Zone uses vivid visuals to introduce Busan’s brand identity and highlight major city initiatives.
The Sales Zone features curated items from local companies, thoughtfully bundled for easy gifting.
The Event Zone invites visitors to go beyond browsing with fun, immersive activities that bring the brand to life.
Weekend programs add another layer of excitement. On Nov. 22 to 23 and Nov. 29 to 30, guests can make custom soaps and magnets featuring Busan’s official logo.
From Dec. 6 to 7, visitors can take four-cut photos with a special photo booth.
To celebrate the Big Shop’s first anniversary, Goods Week runs from Nov. 22 to 23 with discounts on select merchandise and a free keychain giveaway. Throughout the event period, anyone who spends over 10,000 won receives exclusive limited-edition stationery, including pencils, erasers, and memo pads.
