With the Emergency Ready App, international residents and visitors in Korea no longer need to worry about missing critical information during emergency situations.
Developed and operated by Korea's Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the app has become an essential resource for disaster and safety information in Korea. It provides access to 36 key services, including real-time emergency alerts, evacuation procedures, shelter locations, police and fire station locations and embassy contacts. It also offers safety guidelines, such as CPR instructions for both adults and children, first-aid for burns and directions on how to use a fire extinguisher.
Available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai, the Emergency Ready App ensures that international residents and visitors can receive the latest emergency alerts and safety information in their preferred language. The app can be downloaded for free from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
