The city’s representative festival will take place at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9. People can view the breathtaking pyrotechnics from Gwangalli Beach, Dongbaekseom Island and Igidae Coastal Park.

Originally launched in 2005 to commemorate the APEC Busan Summit, the Busan International Fireworks Festival draws over 1 million spectators annually. The festival is now considered one of Korea's top three fireworks events, alongside the Seoul International Fireworks Festival and the Pohang International Fire & Light Festival. This year's show promises even more stunning displays, utilizing Busan’s iconic Gwangandaegyo Bridge as a central feature.

The city anticipates a million people will come and witness the extravaganza. In preparation for the massive turnout, Busan has mobilized thousands of city officials, personnel and volunteers to ensure the safety and well-being of all audience members.

The city will livestream the fireworks display on its official YouTube channel for those who cannot watch the spectacle in person.
