Candlelight concert in Yongdusan Park

 

Starry Night in Busan Candlelight will occur at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at the outdoor stage in Yongdusan Park. The Candlelight Concerts series features live performers surrounded by flickering candlelights organized by the Spanish performance company Fever. This is the second Busan Candlelight Concert of the year. 

Unlike other concerts by Fever, this time, the concert is free of charge, and no tickets are required to enter. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The ensemble Tones, which consists of two violinists, a violist, and a cellist, will present a 65-minute concert featuring around 10 beautiful songs, including original soundtracks from Disney and other movies. After the performance, LED roses, which will boost romantic sentiment in the early summer night, will be given to anyone who participates in a satisfaction survey. 

Meanwhile, the concert venue, Yongdusan Park, is an essential location for night tourism. Starting this year, digital technologies such as media arts and metaverse were implemented to showcase fantastic night views and energetic images of Busan. From July, the park will transform into a playground of night tour content: The Yongdusan Night Pop-up, Old Town Night Docent Tour and others.
