New Year’s Eve events citywide
Bid adieu to 2023 with New Year’s Eve events across the city.
On Dec. 31 at 11 p.m., the 2024 Haeundae Countdown & New Year Festival will take place at Haeundae Beach. Enjoy live performances by indie group Band Girin and the Haeundae-Gu Juvenile Chorus. Then, countdown to midnight with a special fireworks display. Once the clock strikes 12, welcome 2024 with an EDM dance party, which continues until 1 a.m.
If you’d rather wake up early—or party all night long—the New Year Festival will be held at the beach on Jan. 1 from 6:50 to 8 a.m.
Another event, 2024 Countdown Busan, will take place on New Year’s Eve at Gwangalli Beach. A variety of events and activities begin at 8 p.m. Receive an uplifting message during the 2024 Hope Talk Concert with cognitive psychologist Kim Gyeong-il. Then, spend the last night of 2023 listening to live performances from ballad vocalist Park Ki-young, trot singer Kim Hee-jae, acoustic band The Ade and male vocal group La Poem.
A countdown event begins at 11:55 p.m. and an amazing drone show begins at midnight.
