New walking tours planned for movie lovers

Busan, the City of Cinema, will host a special program for movie lovers. The “Road Theater Movie and Drama Location Tour” will take participants on a walking tour of historical sites and film locations around Jung-gu and Haeundae-gu districts.
Two separate tours are available and will take place from Oct. 20 to 29.
First, the Yongdusan Park Course is a two-hour walking tour held from Oct. 20 to 22. The tour takes participants through the Busan Museum of Movies, Baeksan Memorial Hall, Eurari Square, Jagalchi Market and Yongdusan Park.
Second, the Busan Cinema Center Course is a 100-minute walking tour held from Oct. 26 to 29. It starts from the Busan Cinema Center Outdoor Theatre to Dureraum Square, APEC Naru Park, Busan Post Lab and ends at the Busan Cinema Center Haneulyeon Theatre.
Anyone who wants to join the tour can select a start time between 10 a.m., 1:30 and 4 p.m.
To make a reservation, individuals should pay a 5,000 won deposit. The deposit will be fully refunded as an Onnuri gift certificate, which can be used at traditional markets as cash after the tour program.
Each session can accommodate 80 people on a first-come, first-served basis. For details, visit the official website of the Busan Cinema Center.
