Celebrate October with Festival Shiwol 2026
Festival Shiwol 2026 fills October in Busan with exciting events. From music and film to art, food and more, there is plenty to discover across the city. Running from Oct. 1 to 31, this year’s edition brings together 22 events across three themes: Music & Culture, Film & Arts, and Business & Innovation.
Festival Shiwol brings performances, exhibitions, food events and industry gatherings. Highlights include the Busan International Rock Festival, Busan International Film Festival and Asia startup expo FLY ASIA.
The Festival Shiwol promotion center will operate at Busan Eurasia Platform, just outside Busan Station, through Oct. 18. Along with comprehensive festival information, the center offers interactive activities and special events.
One highlight is a stamp tour connecting 10 festival venues across Busan. Joining is simple: Look for Busan’s city mascot, Boogi, holding a QR code at participating venues. Scan the code to collect digital stamps, and keep collecting as you move from one festival to the next. Then, stop by the promotion center at Busan Eurasia Platform to claim rewards based on the number of stamps collected. Collect at least one stamp to receive a small gift, or three or more for a gift set and a chance to enter a prize draw.
Festival Shiwol is also expanding its online presence through content and short-form videos shared via the Visit Busan website and social media channels. Partnerships with major online travel platforms will also help introduce the festival to travelers in Korea and abroad.
