Sip, snack and stargaze at Busan's fall night market
Summer's winding down, but Busan's nightlife is just heating up. From Sept. 26 to Oct. 18, the 2026 Starry Night in Busan: Night Market returns to Hwamyeong Eco Park every Thursday through Sunday for a season of easy autumn evenings.
Doors are open from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 4 to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
This year's market blends traditional Korean liquor, food stalls, self-cooking stations and hands-on activities for a laid-back night under the stars. Five themed zones make up the experience:
Spirit Busan — A pop-up spotlighting traditional Korean liquors from Busan and beyond.
Starry Food Zone — Snacks and dishes made to pair with a good drink.
Picnic & Campnic Zone — A relaxed outdoor spot to soak in the park's after-dark scenery.
Starlight Kitchen — Brew your own traditional liquor, join a kids' cooking class, or unwind with running and yoga surrounded by nature. Self-cooking experiences round out the lineup.
Traveling Merchant Market — A flea market featuring local small businesses, plus a dedicated kids' flea market.
