BGCF will support your foreign community events
The Busan Global City Foundation supports foreign residents’ communities based in Busan. It is accepting applications for the 2024 Foreign Community Support program until Feb. 18. The initiative is to assist foreign communities in organizing activities and events.
Non-profit organizations focusing on networking events, cultural exchange, or information sessions for foreign residents are encouraged to apply. Selected communities may receive financial support of up to 500,000 won and/or administrative support, including publicity, event space and supplies.
Eligibility is contingent on participation in at least one of the following events:
- Global Gathering 2024
- Community events, meetings, or gatherings centered around culture, art, sports, exhibitions, festivals, and education
- Community events that encourage cultural exchange between locals and foreign residents
BGCF will tailor its support based on the nature and content of each event, ensuring meaningful assistance for the selected communities.
The application can be found on the BGCF’s official website and should be sent to intlbusan@bfic.kr by Feb. 18.
