The 2023 Maum Pak Seri World Match tees off this weekend
Calling all golf fans!
Busan will host one of the biggest golf events in the nation this weekend. The 2023 Maum Seri Pak World Match takes place on Oct. 7 at the Stone Gate Country Club in Gijang-gun county. Gallery members can enter the course at 10 a.m. LPGA legends, celebrities and other famous athletes will tee off at 11 a.m.
The event is hosted by the Seri Pak Foundation and will feature some of sports most prominent stars. Famed golfers Seri Pak, Michelle Wie, Annika Sorenstam, Kari Webb and more will be joined by Olympic gold medalist swimmer Park TaeHwan and former tennis star Lee Hyung-taik. Several K-Golf legends and K-Sports stars are also expected to participate. Proceeds from the competition will be donated to the winners’ selected charities.
As the event is expected to garner more than 10,000 golf fans in Busan, it will boost the citizens’ aspirations to win the bid for the World Expo 2030 as the final vote is set to open in November.
