Busan Metropolitan City officially launched the Visit Busan Pass, which provides significant discounts on local tourist attractions and public transportation exclusively to foreign tourists in the city.

The Visit Busan Pass was soft-launched in February 2023. During the trial period, more than 45,000 tourists enjoyed free entry or discounted prices at the city’s most popular attractions, restaurants, experiences, activities and hotels.

Already a hit among travelers, the official launch of the Visit Busan Pass gives customers even more bang for their buck.

Starting today, people have four options to choose from:

1. 24-Hour Pass: Free or discounted prices for 24 hours

2. 48-Hour Pass: Free or discounted prices for 48 hours

3. BIG3: Free access to three attractions citywide

4. BIG5: Free access to five attractions citywide

Each Visit Busan Pass can be used via mobile app or card. The card has the added benefit of being a transportation card when charged at convenience stores or subway stations.

The 24- and 48-hour passes are activated upon first use to enter an attraction or ride public transportation. The BIG3 and BIG5 passes are active 180 days after the first free admission.

To commemorate the official launch of the Visit Busan Pass, the first 1,000 customers can enjoy a 50% discount on either a BIG3 or BIG5 pass. In addition, customers will be automatically entered into a random drawing to win prizes such as a 2-night hotel voucher or free tickets to the Busan One Asia Festival, the hotly anticipated K-pop concert!
