Live in Busan for One Month

1

Busan Metropolitan City is recruiting people to join the “Live in Busan for One Month” program. Participants will be paid to discover and promote the charms of the city’s historic downtown. Known locally as Oldtown, the area contains the history and culture of Busan and includes sections of Jung-gu, Dong-gu, Seo-gu and Yeongdo-gu districts. The program is part of the city’s efforts to revitalize the neighborhood and promote its long-stay tourism industry.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be at least 19 years old; minors can participate if accompanied by a legal guardian. In addition, an applicant’s residence must be registered outside of Busan. Priority will be given to social media influencers and job seekers or entrepreneurs who wish to work in Busan.

Selected participants will be responsible for posting at least one social media post per day on their accounts to promote the unknown tourist spots in the Oldtown areas while staying in Busan throughout June. The city will cover accommodation fees of up to 50,000 won per night (minimum stay of four nights, maximum of 29 nights). In addition, participants will attend a networking event and can enjoy two additional programs, such as business mentoring or leisure activities, for free.

Visit the program’s official website (busan1month.oopy.io) for more information and to access the application.
