Busan’s favorite products, at a discount
From now until May 31, Busan City will offer a 30% discount on all items at Dongbaek Shop, located in the Shinsegae Department Store, Centum City. The sale is part of the fourth annual “Buy K Festa” campaign, a nationwide event to promote small and medium-sized enterprises.
About 160 products from 28 small businesses are currently on sale. The selection includes homemade makgeolli, the milky and sweet traditional rice wine, along with colorful aprons, and postcards featuring Busan’s scenery and tourist attractions.
During the event, customers can receive free gifts such as air fresheners, key rings and brooches. Customers who make purchases of at least 20,000 won will receive a free tote bag adorned with Boogi, the city’s seagull mascot, while supplies last.
In addition, the store is holding an Instagram hashtag event. Participants that upload photos using the hashtags #동백상회; #신세계백화점; #동백상회신세계백화점; and complete a survey can enter a lottery for the chance to win AirPods, Shinsegae gift certificates or Starbucks gift cards.
