Busan Metropolitan City has launched the Galmaet-gil Trails public service program, which offers professionally guided walks on the Galmaet-gil courses from April to June. The program is named “Gachi”, which has two different meanings in Korean, "value" and "together". The aim of the program is to convey the value of the Galmaet-gil Trails to citizens as part of the city’s initiative to become a “15-minute city.”

Certified trail guides, who have completed all the Galmaet-gil courses, will lead the trail experiences and prioritize safety for all participants. The program will offer 42 different trail courses, divided into four categories: Full Course, Yolo Galmaet-gil Course, Moonlight Galmaet-gil Course, and Walking Together, a course that is accessible to people with disabilities. Each course requires a different amount of time, ranging from 2 hours to 5.5 hours.

People who take the trails need to bring their own belongings, such as water, snacks, and first-aid kits. Those who wish to join the program can book their desired dates and courses on the official website of Busan Galmaet-gil (갈맷길.kr, Korean language only)

For more information, visit the program's official website, download the mobile application "Busan Galmaet-gil Trail Tour" (부산갈맷길 걷기여행), or visit the Galmaet-gil Tourist Information Center at the Busan Eurasia Platform.
