Busan to celebrate Children’s Day with joyful activities
Busan Metropolitan City, in collaboration with Busan Ilbo, will host the 50th Children's Day Festival on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Busan Cinema Center. The event, organized around the theme "Happy Day for Every Child" will feature activities dedicated to the five joys of childhood: watching, creating, being together, learning, and challenging.
At the outdoor theater and Double Cone, performances such as "Smile Balloon Box," "Carrie and Toy Friends," "DJ Party," and "Science Magic Show" will create a festive atmosphere. In the Dureraum Square, children can enjoy hands-on experiences such as playing with Legos, building with blocks, trying aqua magic and playing board games.
The Children's Happy Store will provide an opportunity for children to learn how to sell and buy things in a market. In addition, children can participate in physical activities through a gym experience and a bounce house.
Various organizations will also present fun programs. The Busan Metropolitan City Fire Disaster Headquarters will stage a puppet play about safety, Busan Bank will host a book exchange event, and the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency will set up a photo zone with police motorcycles.
