Busan Metropolitan City is set to launch a new website called Net Zero Busan, which will detail the region's carbon neutrality initiatives and provide advice to citizens on how they can practice carbon-neutral lifestyles. The goal is to help Busan achieve its target of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. The website will be accessible to the public from the last week of April by searching for “넷제로 부산” on Naver.

In addition, Busan will host various events to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Climate Change Week Campaign. On April 22, the city is encouraging citizens to switch off their lights for 10 minutes at 8 p.m. to create a citywide blackout. There will also be a carbon neutrality campaign at 3 p.m. on April 27 at the Busan Citizens Park, Busanjin-gu district.

This effort to promote carbon neutrality is an important step towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment. By providing information and resources to citizens, Busan Metropolitan City hopes to create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly community.
