In March, Busan Metropolitan City published its free guidebook, “Taste of Busan 2023,” highlighting local restaurants and cafés citywide.

The 21st edition of the annual food and beverage guide introduces 163 restaurants throughout the city and includes a map showing the location of each place at a glance. The “Taste of Busan 2023” features vivid pictures of food and restaurants and includes interviews with chefs explaining the history and characteristics of select businesses.

The first edition was published to commemorate the 2002 Asian Games and the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. The guidebook is issued in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. The Korean/English edition is currently available, with Chinese and Japanese editions expected soon.

Visitors and locals can pick up a copy of the guidebook at various tourist information centers, train stations or Gimhae airport. In addition, a digital version is available on Visit Busan’s official website (visitbusan.net).
