Busan to unveil new city branding at BEXCO

On March 10, Busan announced the city’s new slogan, “Busan is Good,” after citizens agreed that the city needed to update its brand image. The revamp has been underway since Nov. 2022, when 1,000 Busan citizens voted to modernize the city’s slogan and logo.
The city will unveil sculptures featuring the new slogan and logo at a ceremony on March 21. Busan hopes the ceremony, to be held at BEXCO, will instill citizens with civic pride. Excitement for the city’s new image would go a long way in Busan’s bid to host the World Expo in 2030.
“I won’t spare my effort to make my city Busan fit to the new slogan ‘Busan is good’ to leap forward as the Global hub city where citizens enjoy their daily lives,” said Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon.
