City’s general store blossoms once again in Haeundae
Dongbaek Shop (동백상회), a general store previously located at the Busan Eurasia Platform in front of Busan Station until June 2022, reopened on the second floor of the Shinsegae, a department store in Centum City, Haeundae-gu (district), March 9. The store is directly accessible via the department store’s underground (B1) entry at Centum City Station (metro line 2).
Originally established as a platform to promote and sell handpicked products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the store has evolved into a distinctive destination where local businesses can showcase their merchandise. Since reopening, the frequented spot has offered over 150 different products such as bugak (fried seaweed snack), honey, traditional alcohol, cosmetics and souvenirs like postcards, which feature the popular city landmarks and attractions. In honor of the revitalization/resumption, the Dongbaek Shop is running an unprecedented 20% off commemoration sale.
