Busan City rolls up arms to support youth credit recovery
Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation embark on a credit-recovery program for local youths, providing professional financial and debt consulting services. Last summer, the Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation opened the Busan Youth Hope Credit Counseling Center (부산청년희망신용상담센터). The center’s services include economic education and counseling services. Furthermore, the project provides debt settlements, including individual debt restructuring and emergency living expenses of up to 1 million won.
In 2022, the program provided debt settlement and emergency living expenses to 41 individuals and was responsible for 407 consultations, including 311 debt consultations.
