BFIC Support for Community Events
The Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC) supports foreign residents’ communities in the Busan Metropolitan City. Currently, BFIC is recruiting 22 locally-based foreign resident communities to support. This initiative excludes for-profit communities and organizations.
Chosen communities could be awarded financial and/or administrative support of up to 500,000 won. Eligibility is contingent on participation in at least one of the following in 2023:
Global Gathering
• Community events and activities promoting the city’s World Expo 2030 bid
• Community events promoting Busan as an English-friendly city
• Community events, meetings or gatherings based on culture, art, sports, exhibition, festival and education.
• Community events that encourage cultural exchange between locals and foreign residents
