Busanhan Park offers leisure activities citywide
Busanhan Park returns with a lineup of programs that bring culture and leisure to parks across the city.
Named after a play on the Korean word “busanhan,” meaning “bustling and lively,” the initiative turns local parks into open-air spaces for performances, hands-on activities, and wellness programs from August through December.
Most programs are free and open to everyone; however, some wellness and experiential activities require online or on-site registration.
Six parks across Busan are participating, with activities tailored to each park’s character and facilities:
- Myeongji Neighborhood Park in Gangseo-gu: A family-friendly destination in the district
- Sasang Neighborhood Park in Sasang-gu: A playful space centered around ecology
- Dongnae Historical Park in Dongnae-gu: A setting for exploring the area’s history and local culture
- Yunbit Park in Geumjeong-gu: A place to enjoy a range of outdoor wellness programs located near the Geumjeong Public Fitness Center (금정국민체육센터)
- Busanjinseong Park in Dong-gu: A chance to experience traditional Korean culture through activities such as traditional wedding ceremonies and crafts
- Amir Park in Yeongdo-gu: A scenic place to discover maritime culture
