Busan City and the Busan Global City Foundation are recruiting members for the 2026 Busan U.N. Week Youth Supporters.

The program gives university students in Busan an opportunity to actively participate in Busan U.N. Week, an annual event commemorating the founding of the United Nations and honoring the sacrifices of Korean War veterans. As home to the U.N. Memorial Cemetery, Busan carries special significance as a city of peace and remembrance, and participants will help communicate this message to wider audiences.

Known as “UNs,” members will participate in events and international exchange programs and produce and promote social media content. They will gain first-hand experience in organizing and operating international events, receive global leadership training, earn an official certificate of participation, complete volunteer hours, receive priority consideration for future international events, receive souvenirs and receive a stipend per activity or content produced.

The program will run from July 26 to December 26, 2026. Undergraduate and graduate students at universities in Busan, including international students, are invited to apply. Applications are open until July 12, and results will be announced on July 15 via the BGCF homepage.
