Busan’s beaches: When do they open?

It’s almost beach season! Haeundae and Songjeong beaches will officially open on June 26, followed by Songdo, Gwangalli, Dadaepo, Ilgwang and Imnang beaches on July 1.
Beyond swimming and sunbathing, visitors can enjoy various leisure activities, including kayaking and scuba diving in Songdo, surfing in Songjeong and stand-up paddleboarding in Gwangalli.
Furthermore, the city’s signature Ocean Healing Program offers beach yoga, sunset pilates, running and meditation at waterfront locations across the city.
