The 2026 Busan Identity Tour is a unique program that spotlights the city’s diverse cultural assets and traditions. Professional guides will take participants to Busan Future Heritage sites, areas that contain tangible and intangible treasures cherished by citizens and of significant value to future generations.

Since Busan harbors meaningful stories around every corner, the tour promises a deeply moving experience, allowing participants to immerse themselves in modern and contemporary history while taking in the city’s vibrant landscapes.

The first six tours will take place between June 20 and July 11. Additional tour dates are expected later this year.

Each tour has a specific theme that reveals an aspect of Busan’s identity:

“Wonder” on June 20: Trace the memories of Busan during its time as the nation’s wartime capital.

Vitality” on June 21: Explore the dynamic energy of a harbor city where ports, ocean and beaches define the daily lives of locals.

“Honor” on June 27: Reflect on Busan’s fierce spirit of defense and resistance during pivotal milestones in Korean history.

“Romance” on July 4: Soak in Busan’s captivating urban nightscape through an exclusive evening tour starting at 6:30 p.m.

“Relaxation” on July 5: Recharge your mind with a revitalizing journey through the city’s soothing sites.

“Abundance” on July 11: Discover Busan’s rich cultural assets embedded right in the everyday lives of its citizens.

Note: Except for the “Romance” session, all programs begin at 9 a.m.

Each three-hour bus/walking tour can accommodate 20 people. Schedules and itineraries may occur depending on on-site conditions.

Applications for the first six tours are open until June 17. Interested individuals can register via the Google Form linked below. Groups of up to four people may also sign up. Since participants will be selected via lottery, the final attendees will be notified individually.

To prevent no-shows, each team (whether individual or group participant) must pay a 5,000-won fee, which will be reimbursed as a drink voucher.
