Dadaepo Beach has been transformed into an open-air art exhibition, thanks to the 2025 Sea Art Festival. The festival runs until Nov. 2.

Now in its 39th year, the Sea Art Festival is returning to Dadeapo Beach after a six-year hiatus, and the setting adds significant meaning to this year’s theme, “Undercurrents: Waves Walking on the Water.” Dadaepo’s unique coastal geography, where the Nakdonggang River meets the sea, is defined by the constant collision and merging of waters with different densities. The setting asks visitors to reflect on coexistence and survival, on how the shifting rhythms of the sea intersect with our daily lives.

Co-directed by Keum-hwa Kim and Bernard Vienat, this year’s edition features 46 works from 17 countries.

In addition to the exhibition, the festival offers a wide range of engaging programs. Children can join outdoor workshops designed to spark a vivid connection to the planet through art, while other creative sessions invite participants to experience nature and art firsthand.

Admission is free. For details and program registration, please visit the official website.
