Run Busan: Running Crew offers free, professional coaching

Starting May 28, the Run Busan: Running Crew coaching program offers a new, professionally led running experience designed to help residents safely and efficiently maximize the benefits of their workouts.

Under the tagline, “Run Together. Run Busan,” this initiative aims to foster a healthy community sports culture that integrates fitness into everyday life. By leveraging Busan’s stunning natural landscapes, these riverside and coastal runs promise to deliver a revitalizing energy boost to everyone involved.

To ensure a safe and productive experience, professional coaches will guide participants through an entire session, from simple pre-run stretching to essential post-run cooldowns. The core instruction focuses on proper running technique and strategic pace adjustment to prevent injuries.

The program operates twice a week at two locations: APEC Naru Park and Dadaepo Beach Park. Each session can accommodate around 30 people with separate tracks for beginner, intermediate and advanced runners.

The group at APEC Naru Park meets every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. The courses follow the beautiful Suyeonggang River amidst East Busan’s glittering urban nightscape.

The group at Dadaepo Beach Park meets every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants can experience the crisp ocean breeze and swaying silver grass charged with morning energy. Runners at Dadaepo can also take advantage of a dedicated Runner Support Facility, fully equipped with convenient amenities including changing rooms, lockers and powder rooms.

This program is entirely free and open to all, with pre-registration required on a first-come, first-served basis. If spots remain, on-site walk-ins are also available. For full details and to secure your spot, please apply via the official website at the link below.
