Busan Metropolitan City and the Korea Post signed an agreement to support international students and promote Busan as a global tourism destination.

As part of the Study Busan 30K Project, the agreement provides a 10% discount on international express mail for foreign students at Busan universities. The discount is available at all post offices in the city.

To qualify for the discount, students must present their Alien Registration Card with a D-2, D-3 or D-10 visa. If applying on behalf of a student, the person must provide a copy of the student’s ARC and their own identification card.

An additional 3% discount is available to students who apply in advance through the Korea Post app or website.

Furthermore, international students can take advantage of financial services offered by Korea Post, including opening a bank account and fee-free overseas remittances. Students can apply by visiting a post office financial window with their student ID or certificate of enrollment.

Finally, Busan’s partnership with Korea Post includes limited-edition stamps featuring the city’s tourist attractions, events and festivals. The first release will showcase the Busan International Fireworks Festival. Pre-orders for the stamps are available through the Southern Busan Post Office website or by visiting in person until March 19.
