Special Class in Busan

I am very smart. Some would even say I’m brilliant. There’s evidence! I went to the Busan gifted Science class next to Children’s Park. I needed to hike the mountain to get there, and it made me very tired. Now, let me explain what made this experience special.

I always went to a cafe called ‘Figo’. It’s made of many large orange containers stacked together - the ones on the big container ships. Before Figo, I went to a Korean rib restaurant called ‘Pungmi Wang Galbi’. The hill was hard to climb up and down, but the two food places made me feel better because their food tasted so good. They tasted like heaven after walking and studying all day.

When I met my friends while going up the hill, we went together. In the summer, it was very hot, but the first floor of the building had an air conditioner so we always stood there for a minute and got refreshed. Many students liked to stand in front of the air conditioner so there was a little bit of sweat smell.

All these small memories make Busan more special to me. I will never forget hiking up and down the mountain, the friends I met, and the food I ate.
