Seeds of wisdom at the Agricultural Technology Center
The Agricultural Technology Center, located in Daejeo 1dong neighborhood, Gangseo-gu district, offers visitors the chance to learn about the latest agricultural practices and techniques through the Busan Agricultural Promotion Program. The program began last year and provides hands-on experiences at its seed promotion center and vertical farms.
In the program, volunteer groups of experts in the agricultural sector, so-called Busan Master Gardeners, guide people of all ages and genders to participate.
In the first half of this year, around 2,700 people participated in the program. Recently, delegations from the Philippines and Vietnam visited the center to learn about agricultural technology.
Any group with more than seven people can book the program. Reservations must be made at least a week in advance at the Busan Metropolitan City Integrated Booking Service (reserve.busan.go.kr).
