Fireworks, music and more at the 28th Busan Sea Festival

 

The 28th Busan Sea Festival will take place from July 26 to 28 at Dadaepo Beach, the city’s top destination for stunning sunsets.

The festival will kick off on July 26 with the Night Pool Party and Dadae Fireworks Show,

During the Night Pool Party, from 7 to 10 p.m., festivalgoers can dance to live performances while splashing in an artificial pool. Hip-hop musicians Swings, Han Yo-han, Be’O and Paul Blanco will take the stage to excite and energize the crowd.

Then, at 8 p.m., the beautiful sunset will give way to a spectacular fireworks display. The show, around 20 minutes long, will illuminate the sky and serve as an exclamation point to the Sea Festival’s grand opening.

During the evening, Dadae Pocha will offer various food and beverage stalls to ensure festivalgoers have the energy to party!

In addition, various events will keep visitors entertained throughout the weekend.

The Hanbada Festival on the 26th brings people with and without disabilities together to celebrate empathy and inclusivity.

On the 27th, the Open Sea, Open Concert and Dadaepo Salsa Dance Festival will allure music and dance enthusiasts looking for a dynamic way to spend a summer evening.

On the 28th, the Dadaepo Folk-Rock Festival will offer more live performances against Dadaepo Beach’s unforgettable sunset.

The Sea Festival also features wellness programs for visitors to enjoy. Try sunset yoga or sunset surfing. Pet owners can even hit the waves with their dogs through the “daengdaeng” surfing program.

All wellness programs need to be reserved, and spots are limited.

To prevent overcrowding on opening day, no more than 32,000 people will be allowed to visit the Dadaepo Beach area. In addition, one lane on Dadae-ro will be closed, and parking at the Dadaepo Beach Public Parking lot will be limited. Visitors are encouraged to use mass transit when attending the Sea Festival.
