Get Dongbaek Pass and save money
On Aug. 1, Dongbaek Pass, the first integrated public transportation discount system in the country, will be launched. For mass transit users whose transportation expenses exceed 45,000 won, the excess amount will be refunded. The discount program is available for use on metro lines 1 to 4, the Donghae Line, Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit, village buses and city buses excluding bus No. 2000.
The maximum amount available for refund is 45,000 won per month. For example, transit users that spend 80,000 won on transportation fees in August will receive a 35,000 won grant in September.
To enjoy these benefits, you must have the Dongbaek Jeon Debit Card(postpaid transportation). The card itself is a debit card, except acts like a credit card for transportation fees.
The transportation card can be acquired by either signing up at the nearest Busan Bank or via the Dongbaek Jeon app (부산 동백전).
