New exhibition captures the spirit of 1960s ‘Swinging London’

Don't miss this unique opportunity to see the works of David Hockney and 14 other British pop art masters. The Culture Platform in Dong-gu district (동구 문화플랫폼) and P-ark in Yeongdo Island are currently hosting the exhibition "David Hockney & British Pop Art: 1960s Swinging London" until Nov. 26.  


The exhibition features the works of Hockney and other artists credited with creating British pop art culture in the 1960s. Also on display are collaborative pieces done with British musicians who dominated pop music at the time, such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The show expresses the dynamic and revolutionary zeitgeist of the 1960s.


There are two different exhibition venues, with the Dong-gu Culture Platform displaying 120 pieces and P.ark showcasing 37 pieces. Visitors can enjoy both venues with just one ticket purchase. Tickets can be bought online through the link provided below or onsite.


Ticket prices are as follows: 18,000 won for adults, 15,000 won for middle and high school students, and 12,000 won for elementary school-aged children and younger. Discounted tickets are available for 9,000 won for those over 65 years old, people with disabilities, and veterans. Additionally, Dong-gu district residents can buy tickets at a 30% discount when purchasing onsite. Supporting documents or identification is required when purchasing discounted tickets.
