Beer festivals on tap this August
Cool down a hot summer evening with a chilled beer at one of Busan’s beer festivals.
🍺 2024 Beer Bomb Festival, Aug. 15 to 18 at Busan Cinema Center
The 2024 Beer Bomb Festival will be held at the outdoor square of Busan Cinema Center from Aug. 15 to 18. During the festival, visitors can enjoy ice-cold draft beers, food and live performances from 5 to 10 p.m.
Notable performers include DJ G Park, the stage name of comedian Park Myung-soo (Aug.15); DJ NewJeansNim, a comedian-turned-DJ who dresses as a monk with a shaved head (Aug. 16); rapper Mirani (Aug 17); and hip-hop group Homies (Aug 18).
Tickets to the event include unlimited beer and cost 25,000 won for general admission and 40,000 won for VIP access. VIP benefits include fast-track entrances, two bottles of exclusively designed beer and a t-shirt. A 10% early-bird discount on all tickets is available through Yes24.
After purchasing tickets online, visitors will receive a mobile ticket, which they must exchange for wristbands at the festival. A valid ID is required to enter.
Ticket holders will also receive a 10% discount on Haeundae Blueline Park reservations made between Aug. 15 and 31.

🍺 2024 Yoorari Dried Seafood Beer Festival, Aug. 23 to 24 at Eurari Square
Dried seafood, a Busan delicacy, is the star of the 2024 Yoorari Dried Seafood Beer Festival.
The festival will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Aug. 23 and 24 at Eurari Square in Jung-gu District.
Enjoy local craft beers with delicacies from the Nampodong Dried Seafood Wholesale Market. Visitors can purchase dried seafood snacks and grill them at a self-cooking zone.
A crafts market, food stalls and live performances will boost the festive atmosphere.
