Since opening on Feb. 10, Study Busan Hub has helped international students acclimate to living and studying in the city. It recently launched a fingerprint registration service, in collaboration with the Busan Immigration Office, that will further streamline the immigration process.

Fingerprint registration is mandatory for immigrants to obtain an Alien Registration Card. Students typically complete this process by visiting the immigration office in Jung-gu District.

Now, students can get their fingerprints taken at Study Busan Hub, located at the National Pension Service Building in Yeonje-gu District. The service ensures a prompt, easy process with minimal wait times, and is particularly beneficial to students whose campuses are far from the immigration office in Jung-gu.

In addition, Busan immigration authorities will also provide on-campus services periodically, enabling students to undertake the immigration process in their own backyards. On March 26, immigration officers are slated to visit Dong-Eui University to complete fingerprint registration for approximately 200 international students.

Study Busan Hub is committed to supporting international students and fostering an environment that helps global talents flourish in and out of the classroom.
