Take a walk through Busan’s dynamic cityscape

If you appreciate the art and science of building design and construction, sign up for the “Ttu-buk Ttu-buk Architecture Tour.(뚜벅뚜벅 건축투어)” This walking tour takes place every weekend until February 2026 and showcases Busan’s architectural heritage.


The “Ttu-buk Ttu-buk Architecture Tour” offers five courses, each highlighting unique aspects of Busan’s urban landscape. Participants can choose from the following:

🚶🏻‍♂️ Centum City Architecture Course (Haeundae-gu): Immerse yourself in Busan’s modern architectural icons like the Busan Museum of Art, the Shinsegae Department Store and the Busan Cinema Center.

🚶🏻‍♂️ UN Cultural Architecture Course (Nam-gu): Step back in time with this reflective journey through Busan’s cultural and wartime history, featuring the Busan Museum, the Busan Cultural Center and the UN Memorial Cemetery.

🚶🏻‍♂️ Old Downtown Architecture Course (Jung-gu): Discover the architectural soul of Busan in its historic heart, where buildings like Baeksan Memorial Hall, the Busan Meteorological Observatory and the Modern History Museum Annex paint a vivid picture of the city’s evolution.

🚶🏻‍♂️ Dongnae Traditional Architecture Course (Dongnae-gu): Travel back to the Joseon Dynasty by exploring historic sites like Janggwancheong, Dongnae Hyanggyo and the Dongnae Government Office.

🚶🏻‍♂️ Sanbok Road Architecture Course (Dong-gu): A fresh addition this year, this vibrant hillside route showcases Busan’s port city identity with stops at the Eurasia Platform, the whimsical guesthouse Five Trees and Catnap, and the Sanbok Road Exhibition Hall.


Each course lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and is led by a certified professionals who share detailed stories and unique insights about each building.


Tour registration is managed by the Busan International Architecture Festival website. Each tour costs 5,000 won per person and includes a small souvenir. Groups of more than 11 people are welcome on weekdays, and registration should be made via the phone number provided below.


There are no tours on Mondays, national holidays and from Sept. 17 to 21.
