Busan’s skywalks offer a breathtaking escape from the daily grind. These unique walkways provide panoramic ocean views and a refreshing sea breeze. Whether visiting with loved ones or exploring solo, these skywalks promise a thrilling and scenic adventure.

🌊 Oryukdo Skywalk

Perched on a coastal cliff in Yongho-dong, the Oryukdo Skywalk dares adventurers to step 35 meters above the crashing sea on a glass-bottomed bridge. Expanded in 2023, the 16.5-meter walkway offers heart-pounding views straight down through tempered glass. At the edge, a tower viewer frames Oryukdo’s six mystic islets—Sol, Shield, Lighthouse, Eagle, Cave, and Drill—whose count seems to shift with the tide.

🌊 Cheongsapo Daritdol & Haewol Observatories

Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory dares thrill-seekers with a 191-meter U-shaped skywalk stretching boldly over the Haeundae coastline. Expanded in 2024, its fully glass-floored final section delivers a jaw-dropping view straight down to the churning sea. Just nearby, the Haewol Observatory adds to the adventure with its crescent tower, sweeping U-shaped deck, and a circular glass plaza perched 22 meters above the waves. For a quieter, more magical experience, visit at sunrise or sunset, when soft light meets open sea. After dark, the observatories come alive with vibrant LED displays.

🌊 Songdo Cloud Walk

Inspired by the historic Cloud Bridge that once graced Songdo Beach, the Songdo Cloud Walk stretches 365 meters over the sea, claiming the title of Korea’s longest skywalk. Suspended 5 to 9 meters above the waves, its glass floor adds a thrill to every step, like floating on water. The path leads to Geobukseom Islet, steeped in the romantic tale of a sea dragon’s daughter and a fisherman. After dark, vibrant lights transform the walkway into a glowing, photogenic dreamscape, with cable cars drifting overhead.

🌊 Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge

Spanning 127 meters between Amnam Park and Dongseom Islet, this striking bridge features steel mesh walkways that deliver a rush of ocean views beneath your feet. Once across, Dongseom offers panoramic sights of Songdo Beach, soaring cable cars, Namhangdaegyo Bridge, and Oryukdo. The bridge glows with soft lights as evening sets in, perfect for a romantic stroll or a photo at one of its scenic snap spots.
