2026 Outdoor Movie Screenings

With the tranquil Suyeonggang River as a backdrop, watching a masterpiece under the night sky is one of Busan’s true summer delights. From May 12 through Sept. 1, the Busan Cinema Center invites you to free outdoor movie nights on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Screenings begin at 8 p.m. at the center’s Outdoor Theater.
This program vividly captures Busan’s identity as the City of Film, offering a unique experience that blends cinematic immersion with a romantic, open-air atmosphere. The movie showings are held rain or shine, thanks to the theater’s iconic cantilevered roof, which keeps moviegoers nice and dry. Except for a special Wednesday screening of “La Boum 2” on Aug. 12, the program runs every Tuesday, featuring a curated selection of 11 award-winning films.
No tickets or reservations are required; just drop by and enjoy the show! Visitors are also eligible for up to four hours of free parking, with registration via QR code required. For more details, please visit the Busan Cinema Center homepage.
