The Busan Museum is hosting a special exhibition titled “Cultures and Histories of Indigenous People in North America” until Feb. 16.

The Indigenous peoples of North America encompass more than 570 tribes across the United States alone, each with its own distinctive culture shaped by different regions. The exhibition explores the history and rich cultural heritage of various tribes. The approximately 150 items on display are part of the extensive collection of the Denver Art Museum in the United States, one of the first institutions to collect works by Native American artists.

The exhibition is organized into two sections. The first showcases the vibrant lives and cultures of around 40 Native American tribes through artifacts, including an eagle feather headdress. The second features various artwork that examines the challenges Native Americans faced after encountering European settlers.
