※ Construction of water source for Beomeosa Treatment Plant Because of the rise in population and the development of the Busan, natural water production was unable to meet this need.
Construction started in 1926 at Chungryung, Beomeosa for a purification plant with the water source coming from Tongmyun, Yangsan’s Beopgi Reservoir. Finished in 1932, the Beomeosa treatment plant produced 14 thousand ㎥ daily.
