A summit thirty years in the making

In what will be the largest international conference held in Korea since the presidents inauguration, the 2019 ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit will be held in Busan on November 25 and 26. 
The historic summit between South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations will mark the 30th anniversary of establishing dialogue relations between the two entities. This will be the third such summit in Korea, following Jeju in 2009 and Busan in 2014. The national leaders that will participate in the summit are as follows: President Moon Jae-in of South Korea1, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc of Vietnam2, PresidentRodrigoDuterteofthePhilippines3,Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei4, President Joko Widodo of Indonesia4, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia5, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore6, Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia7, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha of Thailand8, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith of Laos9 and State Counsellor Aung San Suukyi of Myanmar10.
